SESLA LENTIGO CARE

Lentigines should be removed precisely,

not simply treated more aggressively.

About the treatment

SESLA is NEWYOUNG's pigment treatment protocol, designed to make the treatment of lentigines simpler, more efficient, and safer.

Lentigines may darken or grow over time. Even a spot that looks like an ordinary blemish can respond differently depending on pigment depth and density and the surrounding skin.

Treating lentigines calls for more than burning or removing pigment with a high-energy laser.

Excess energy can cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, redness, scarring, or lightening of the skin; too little may leave pigment behind or require repeat treatments.

For SESLA Lentigo Care, NEWYOUNG CLINIC first assesses pigment density, depth, size, location, and skin type, then precisely adjusts the treatment method and intensity.

The goal is not simply to remove the spot but also to reduce damage to surrounding skin and the burden of recovery, aiming for a clearer, more natural skin tone.

SESLA is NEWYOUNG's signature program for relatively well-defined pigmented lesions, including lentigines and localized spots, tailored to each person's skin.

How NEWYOUNG SESLA Lentigo Care Works

01 First, identify the type of pigmented lesion

A. Lesion shape and borders B. Suitability for treatment

Not every pigmented spot that looks like a lentigo is the same lesion.

We assess pigment intensity, depth, borders, size, location, texture, and surrounding skin before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

02 Assess pigment depth and density

A. Pigment depth and density B. Adjust energy by area

A lentigo may appear superficial, but pigment depth and density can vary even within one lesion.

SESLA takes this variation into account and adjusts energy levels across the spot.

03 Plan to reduce damage to surrounding skin

A. Apply only what is needed, where needed B. Consider surrounding skin

Treating only the visible spot too aggressively can irritate healthy skin around it.

SESLA laser treatment carefully considers the lesion's boundary with normal skin and aims to deliver only the energy needed to the target area.

04 Adjust treatment to your skin type

A. Assess individual skin condition B. Tailor the treatment method

Even with the same type of spot, treatment should differ for thin skin,

skin prone to pigmentation, skin with melasma or another pigment disorder,

and sensitive skin.

05 Guide aftercare as well as treatment

A. Sun protection and skin care B. Review after treatment

Sun protection and healing care matter after lentigo treatment.

NEWYOUNG CLINIC reviews your skin afterward and advises on daily and post-treatment care to help reduce pigmentation.

Q&A

Q. Can one treatment make a difference?

It depends on the spot's depth and size and your skin type.

Some lesions may improve noticeably after one treatment; others may need further treatment.

Q. Are there any side effects?

All laser treatments can cause redness, scabbing, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, or scarring.

To reduce these risks, NEWYOUNG CLINIC assesses lesion depth and skin condition before adjusting treatment intensity and coverage.

Q. How should I care for the area afterward?

The most important step is to keep the DuoDERM dressing in place over the treated area for two weeks.

After removal, protect the area carefully from the sun, avoid scrubs, strong peels, and excessive heat, and follow the healing and moisturizing instructions you receive.
